The trail begins from Lukla (2,828m), lukla is a busy town located in the Khumbu region. Khumbu region is the homeland of the mighty Sherpa and the mysterious Yeti. Peaks like AmaDablam (6,812), Lhotse (8516), Makalu (8,463), Pumori (7,161), Nuptse (7,855), and other high peaks are standing tall to welcome you to this region. A couple of weeks of your life would be the best time to discover mammoth landscapes, Sherpa-Tibetan cultures, and high altitudes. This is by far the best place in the world for those who adore nature and breathtaking gifts from nature. The EBC trek follows the trail along with the Dudh Koshi River elevating along with the forest of Rhododendron. On the way, you can likely see several endangered species like Blue Sheep and Musk Deer. This region is home to snow leopards, but most of the time they are not nearby. A key component of any mountaineer’s gear list is suitable clothing, encompassing insulated layers for warmth, waterproof and windproof outer layers for protection against the elements, and moisture-wicking base layers to manage sweat. In addition to clothing, essential equipment for mountaineering and trekking includes a backpack for carrying gear and supplies, a dependable sleeping bag suitable for expected temperatures, and a sleeping pad for insulation from the cold ground. It is imperative to carefully consider the terrain, climate, and duration of the expedition when assembling a gear list for mountaineering and trekking.
INSURANCE:
A government act dictates that no foreigner will be able to purchase insurance in Nepal. Hence, the clients need to purchase a travel insurance package (covering medical expenses, air evacuation, search and rescue missions) in their own country. Trekking may involve risks and several other factors that cannot be foretold. Medical emergencies and natural calamities are common in high altitudes and we like to be assured that our clients are insured against helicopter evacuations, trip cancellations, and personal accidents so that they don’t have to suffer twice.
Due to unanticipated reasons, for example, injury, family issues, work commitments, etc., clients may need to cancel their trip before the start or during the trek. Considering these factors, it’s better to be prepared for the possibilities. This agency will inquire about the client’s personal and insurance information so that proper steps and paperwork can be done in case of unpredictable situations. If somehow a rescue is needed, our company will contact rescue companies and will manage all the paper works. It is to be noted that the company shall not bear any losses or provide compensation in case the guest’s insurance doesn’t cover any or all aspects of the trip.
As mentioned in the Terms and Conditions of Discover Asia, the agency is exempt from being liable for different expenses that may occur in case of different emergencies or unforeseen situations. You are free to pick your insurer however look for an arrangement that covers trip postponement and cancellation, rescue, and medical as well. Guarantee it doesn’t have limitations on the height you will climb, prohibitions on the exercises you are embracing, or the places you will be visiting. BOOKING & PAYMENT PROCESS:
If you intend to embark on an adventure through Discover Asia. you are required to book a trip 3 months before the trip. A three-month preparation period is necessary to ensure maximum safety and satisfaction of the clients.
The client must dispense 30% of the total cost, at the time of booking. The advance amount will be used for the necessary booking of hotels, flights, guides, and porters and for receiving approval from governmental authorities. Another 30% of the total charge should be deposited one month before the flight to Nepal. The remaining 40% of the total charge should be paid before you arrive in Nepal, before the start of your adventure.
After depositing the booking amount to the company’s account, we can confirm your registration for our expedition team.
